Product details
Couch yarn, cording, and textured ribbons by free-motion with the Brother Couching Foot Kit SA199C — a genuine OEM specialty kit that guides thick yarn directly under the needle so you can freely "paint" or quilt with yarn in any direction on compatible Brother luxury sewing machines.
Note: Also interchangeable with part numbers SA199 and SA199VC. Not compatible with low-shank mechanical or mid-range computerized machines (e.g. CS or SE series) — requires specialized high-shank clearance and integrated overhead metal guide anchors.
What's Included:
- Couching Foot — Specialty hopping foot with bottom yarn routing channel
- Upper Yarn Guide — Metal arm that mounts to the top casing to keep yarn pulling smoothly off the spool
- Lower Yarn Guide — Clips near the needle bar to keep the yarn strand steady
- Wire Yarn Threader — Flexible wire for pulling heavy or textured yarn through guide loops
