Product details
Author: DESARE,TONY
Format: Remixes included
Release Date: 10-02-2009
Details: 2009 release from the singer-pianist, an album that recaptures that golden age of radio. The album embraces a variety of eras in American popular music, all tied together by the voices of radio announcers who set the tone for each individual track and the recording as a whole. More than just a collection of period songs with clever intros, though, Radio Show offers up a historical retrospective of the intimate relationship between the music, the listener and the magic medium that brought them together. Tune in to yesteryear and hear the future. Tony DeSare's Radio Show is on the air. Includes songs originally performed by New Order, Ray Charles, Phillip Bailey, Chuck Berry and others.
