Details: The series' musical compilations keep getting better and sharper. All-Music Guide Music From The O.C.: Mix 6 Covering Our Tracks continues the most adventurous soundtrack series ever conceived. Spawned from the musically hippest show on TV, 'The O.C.' each album has won widespread critical acclaim. Featuring Rock Kills Kid, The M's, Pinback, Lady Sovereign, Band Of Horses, Mates Of State, Syd Matters, Rogue Wave and others, Mix 6, Covering Our Tracks may be the edgiest, most indie rock album of the entire series. Lady Sovereign covers the Sex Pistols' punk classic 'Pretty Vacant' and John Paul White covers Electric Light Orchestra's '70s gem 'Can't Get It Out Of My Head.' The TV series premiered in summer 2003 and the first Music From The O.C. was issued in spring 2004. Each release has typically been among the best-sellers on the Soundtracks chart while 'Rock & Roll Queen' from The Subways on Mix 5 charted Top 30 Modern Rock.
